quintessential african savanna, complete with goofy tourist! zebra stripe patterns have always fascinated me...along with storks (did your guide(s) have a particular name for it? in my book it appears to be an abdim's stork) and related large birds. keep your eyes peeled--or ask the right person--for a hoopoe, weird looking woodpecker-like, punk-ish pointy head crest and zebra wings...
